Born in Agana, Guam, Dacia (Hammerick) Napier was the daughter of a Naval family. During her youth, Dacia’s family also resided in Bethesda, MD, and Corpus Christi, TX, where she graduated from King High School as salutatorian. She went on to receive her bachelor of arts degree in biochemistry and art history at Houston’s Rice University. Dacia later earned her medical doctor degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dacia conducted her internship in internal medicine and her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). In San Antonio, Dacia served as chief resident in 2001-2002 and earned the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Resident Research Award.
Throughout her career, Dacia has received several accolades and honors. At the UTHSCSA, Dacia was a fellow and assistant professor of abdominal imaging. Since 2004 she has served as medical director at North Central Baptist Hospital, and in that same year was named Consultant of the Year by the hospital’s emergency physicians. In 2007, Dacia was named president of M&S Radiology.
A year after Dacia began medical school she married Lanham Napier in 1994. One year after the couple married, Lanham started graduate school in Boston. The couple had to live apart for two years until they moved to San Antonio in 1997. The couple have two children, son Cade and daughter Avery.
Both Dacia and Lanham believe that their family and education have been a significant force in their success. “We think that access to education is something that America - with all its strength, should be able to provide its children through the joint cooperation of the public and private sector,” says Dacia. “Everyone has something to contribute. It is every individual’s obligation to help each other achieve it.”
Dacia is involved in a number of professional and charitable organizations. In 2002-2004 she served as director of education for the Texas Radiological Society and launched programs to engage and involve residents in the statewide organization. She is also an active member of RSNA and the American College of Radiology (ACR). In 2007, Dacia personally organized and hosted a Christmas toy-drive benefiting Family Services Association (FSA) of San Antonio and St. Peter - St. Joseph Children’s Home.

Allison (Dreeben) Zeller is a San Antonio native, and grew up with her two sisters in the Alamo City. After graduating from Alamo Heights High School, Allison attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree.
At Vanderbilt, Allison was involved with student government and was the recipient of the Walter C. Wattles Fellowship, which provided her the opportunity to work overseas at Lloyd’s of London as an aviation placement broker for one year. Later, Allison moved to Houston and worked as an advertising representative with Our Kids magazine and went on to coordinate marketing of investment advisory services for FCA Corp.
In 1998, Allison married Josh Zeller, and the couple have three children, twin daughter and son Emily and Ben, and daughter Abbie.
Allison says, being a mother and wife comes first, second and third! So, it’s in her “spare” time that Allison is able to volunteer with local organizations.
She says her parents were instrumental in preparing her to serve. “My parents always stressed to me and my sisters the old adage that ‘to whom much is given, much is expected.’” Today, Allison - who is reluctant to be labeled a philanthropist, donates her time and resources to a number of local organizations.
She is the 2007-2008 president of the Southwest Foundation Forum for Biomedical Research and was the 2007 Give a Piece of Your Heart Luncheon and Bazaar chair benefiting the Children’s Shelter. She is an active volunteer for the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center, St. David’s School, Saint Mary’s Hall and the San Antonio Academy. She is currently the treasurer for the local alumnae chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. She is a former board member of the Cancer Center Council and has also volunteered for Temple Beth El’s Meals on Wheels program.
